Ashley Koff is a registered dietitian trained in all aspects of nutrition counseling. In 2002, she founded the healthXchange (www.thehealthxchange.com), a nutrition counseling and consulting company, whose mission is to empower individuals to reach their optimal nutrition by providing education and implementation strategies. Koff’s Recipes for IBS: Great Tasting Recipes Customized for Your Symptoms (Fair Winds Press), a cookbook and treatment plan for digestive wellness was released in February 2007. Her unique blend of implementation-focused nutrition as well as her in-depth knowledge of supplements, herbs, and complementary healing practices (yoga, breathing, massage, and acupuncture) makes her sought after as a consultant and speaker. Integrative medicine gurus Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Soram Singh Khalsa, and the doctors at the world renowned Tao of Wellness in Santa Monica, CA refer patients to Koff. Educated at Duke and New York Universities and trained at LA+USC and Columbus Children’s hospitals, Koff also held a staff position at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Currently, she sees patients privately and also educates physicians and healthcare practitioners as a consultant for Dr. Weil’s Program in Integrative Medicine (Univ. of Arizona). She has appeared on CNN, Entertainment Tonight, The Tyra Banks Show, Bravo’s “Welcome to the Parker,”KABC, LA’s MY13, Retirement Living, and FitTV’s The Ultimate Goal. Koff’s expertisehas also been featured in magazines such as Healing Lifestyles & Spas, Food & Wine, Fitness, In Style, In Touch Weekly, Shape, Allure, Teen Vogue, Yogi Times, and Weight Watchers. She is a member of Reader’s Digest’s advisory board and a journal reviewer for the Journal of the American Dietetic Association.
